OBFA 2026 Rules

All entries and enrollments are final. No refunds will be issued.
Futurity and Derby horses must be checked in prior to their first run. Failure to do so will result in disqualification without refund.
Show management reserves the right to refuse entry to any horse or rider deemed unsafe.

All participants are expected to conduct themselves in a professional and respectful manner at all times.
Unsportsmanlike behavior may result in disqualification and/or removal from the grounds.
Show management reserves the right to remove any individual from the premises for inappropriate behavior.

Excessive use of spurs or whips, as determined by show management, may result in disqualification.

Western attire is mandatory: jeans, boots, long-sleeve shirt, and a hat or helmet.
Helmets are mandatory for:
All riders under 18
Any rider competing in an NBHA youth class
Helmets are strongly encouraged for all riders.

All events will follow the rules set out by NBHA Canada, including all applicable ground rules.
All decisions made by show management are final.
Show management reserves the right to interpret, enforce, and amend rules at any time.

By entering or enrolling, all participants agree to abide by these rules and release the producers and affiliates from any liability.
The Ontario Barrel Futurity Association, NBHA Canada, and all affiliates are not responsible for any loss, injury, death, or accidents involving horses, riders, or spectators.
Ride at your own risk.

Participants must be present to receive awards. Delivery of awards is not guaranteed if you are absent.
